Hi, I am in my 79th year! On June 9, 1976 at 9:00 PM, I took my 1st class at the Jhoon Rhee Institute in Kensington, MD. I received my Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in Bloomington, MN on June 12, 1981. Then received my 5th Dan on Feb 15, 1995. I did a little aikido got to Blue belt then that school closed. I had met Master Robert Frankovich, my Aikido instructor, and he recommended I think about Haidong Gumdo. So, I started Haidong Gumdo in 2005. Over the years, I graduated to my current Rank of 4th Dan. I have been honored to start teaching and do support work in the school.
