We have recently finalized our partnership with PeerFit. This partnership will allow employees who have wellness benefits as part of their benefits package to join our martial arts. Those using the wellness program using PeerFit to coordinate will have their tuition paid.
This can be a great opportunity for those interested in martial arts to try classes. Check with your benefits coordinator to see if PeerFit is included. If you or someone you know is interested in the martial arts, please share this information. It will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
The World Haidong Gumdo Federation’s Head Master Jeong Woo Kim, is the inspiration for this saying. Master Kim has become famous for reciting this phrase during training. It is presented as a motivational saying intended for Korean martial artists, but a thought appreciated across all martial arts, to help renew your spirit as you train!

I have been doing Song Moo Kwan Taekwondo for a LONG time. I had the fortune of getting a couple articles published in Black Belt, Taekwondo Times and Inside Taekwondo back in the 1990’s. One other goal has been to create a guide for the hyungs that are exclusive to Song Moo Kwan. I have finally gotten this done. Volume One of the Chung Bong hyungs is available now through CreateSpace (linked below) and will be available through Amazon and on Kindle by the end of the week. Volumes Two and Three will be done soon! Thank you, Tanya Bartelt for the photography work and putting up with the project.
